Boarding for Breast Cancer’s Love Your Peaks Winter Prevention Series Makes Final Stop at Mammoth Mountain
April 21st, 2025 (Mammoth Lakes, CA) – Boarding for Breast Cancer’s (B4BC’s) 2025 Love Your Peaks Winter Prevention Series presented by LivOn Labs is making its last stop of the series! The nonprofit will be hosting a day of fun and fundraising at Mammoth Mountain on Sunday, May 4th, where participants can support B4BC’s education, prevention, and survivorship programs while spreading the organization’s mission of a healthy, active lifestyle + early detection as the best means of breast cancer prevention.
Love Your Peaks Mammoth will kick off on Saturday May 3rd, with bib pickup at Tusks in Mammoth’s Main Lodge from 12pm – 4pm. The festivities will take place starting at 9:00 am on Sunday, May 4th with slalom race registration, breast health education, and a silent auction. Attendees can also purchase raffle tickets, entering them to win a selection of incredible items from B4BC’s Love Your Peaks partners, and walk through a fantastic sponsor village, including samples from presenting sponsor LivOn Labs! Registration is $40 (and includes a B4BC gift pack!) and must be completed online here by Saturday, May 3rd at 3 pm to join in on the fun. The slalom race will test participants’ need for speed, with them taking two laps on the slalom course between 10 am and 1 pm for a combined time as a final score. The fastest time wins the prize, with space limited to the first 150 people and multiple race categories, giving snowboarders and skiers of all ages a chance to win the top spot in their age group. Following the slalom race, participants will set out on a Tribute Ride to honor those affected by breast cancer and close out the day with awards and the announcement of silent auction and raffle winners.
Those who can’t make it to an event in person can participate virtually by donating, dedicating a day at their local resort, and posting in support of B4BC’s education, prevention and survivorship programs. Virtual participants who tag @b4bc on Instagram will be entered in a photo contest, where they can win prizes from B4BC’s Love Your Peaks partners.
