Boarding for Breast Cancer Kicks Off Love Your Peaks Winter Prevention Series presented by LivOn Labs at Camelback Mountain
Jan. 9, 2024 (Tannersville, Penn.) – Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) is making the first of fourteen stops of their Love Your Peaks Winter Prevention Series presented by LivOn Labs at Camelback Mountain on Saturday, January 18thand Sunday, January 19th. B4BC will be raising breast cancer awareness at resorts from coast to coast, and the series will support B4BC’s education, prevention, and survivorship programs while spreading its mission of a healthy, active lifestyle + early detection as the best means of breast cancer prevention.
The festivities will kick off at Camelback at 10 am on Saturday, January 18th with breast health education and Pink Poker Run registration. Attendees will also be able to purchase B4BC merch and raffle tickets, entering them to win a selection of incredible items from B4BC’s Love Your Peaks partners. Registration includes a $25 donation (and a B4BC beanie!) that can be completed in person or online here. The pink poker run is open to all ages and abilities, and participants will explore the resort while collecting a hand of cards. Participants with the three best poker hands will win a partner prize pack, with bonus prizes awarded to those in the best pink costumes. Following the Pink Poker Run, attendees will enjoy a pink party après and the day will come to a close with live music at The Thirsty Camel.
Sunday will open with a silent auction at 10 am, where participants can place bids for an opportunity to win an exciting selection of partner products. Attendees will also be able to purchase B4BC merch, just in time to represent during the Tribute Ride. Participants will meet at Summit House at 2pm before setting out on a ride in honor of those affected by breast cancer.
The winter push for prevention doesn’t end there! Following the first stop at Camelback, B4BC will be bringing Love Your Peaks to fourteen resorts nationwide. Those who can’t make it to an event in person can participate virtually by donating, dedicating a day at a local resort, and posting in support of B4BC’s education, prevention and survivorship programs.
