Sandy Par was founded by skateboarding and streetwear industry veteran, Brian Jones. He has merged his experience with his lifelong passions for Sandy Par. “As a golfer since I could walk, I’ve never been a fan of traditional golf fashion and being forced to dress a certain way to play a sport. Like skateboarding, golf is individualistic and involves power and finesse. Golf apparel should offer mobility while reflecting personal styles on-and-off the golf course. I’m trying to bring that to light with Sandy Par,” said Jones.

Sandy Par has had quick success expanding their reach into traditional golf retail and non-traditional retail settings, globally. Most recently, Tillys has started carrying Sandy Par. “Golf has been going through a rejuvenation phase, led by emerging brands seeking to break the norm to make it more appealing to younger consumers. The Sandy Par Spring 24 collection features t-shirt graphics reminiscent of iconic 80’s surf brands and apparel and headwear with an off-course motivation. Stand out pieces include the La Mirada yarn dyed stripe polos. Made of 95% cotton and 5% spandex they give the golfer the opportunity to have a traditional style polo with flexibility. A Nylon Cruiser short with an added full-length layer of breathable lining to keep the shorts from sticking to you, sweat or dry. Along with the entire line of Sandy Par headwear featuring a premium Terrycloth sweat-band to help with sweat absorption and moister wicking.

To make their mark on the traditional golf market, Sandy Par launched in spring 2023 with their lead product being a patented golf towel.
