MPC Honored with Award of Excellence at the 2025 OCPRSA PROTOS Awards

At MPC, celebrating great work is part of our culture – and this year, we’re thrilled to share that our team has once again been recognized by the Orange County Public Relations Society of America (OCPRSA) at the annual PROTOS Awards.

Since our very first year in business, MPC has been honored with PROTOS recognition, and this tradition continues to motivate us to raise the bar in everything we do. The PROTOS Awards are the premier recognition program for PR professionals in Orange County, honoring standout campaigns, strategic initiatives, and the dedicated individuals behind them. For us, being part of this community of talented communicators is an honor in itself, and being recognized for our contributions is the icing on the cake.

This year, MPC received an Award of Excellence for our work on our HERE campaign with Newman University. The HERE program is designed to bring higher education opportunities to Southwest Kansas through Newman’s partnerships with three local community colleges. The initiative not only bridges the gap between students and accessible degree programs, but also creates a pathway for professional and economic growth in the region.

With the launch of five new majors this year and a record number of student applications, the HERE program has grown into something bigger, and we’re proud to have played a role in telling this important story and helping Newman University connect with students who may not have otherwise had access to higher education opportunities close to home.

Adding a personal touch to the evening, our very own Account Executive Rachel, attended the awards ceremony and accepted the award on behalf of our entire MPC Crew. Celebrating among peers, partners, and industry leaders was a reminder of the incredible talent and passion that exists within the Orange County and national PR community.

We’re grateful to OCPRSA for recognizing our work and to Newman University for trusting us with such an impactful campaign. Moments like these energize our team and reinforce why we do what we do: helping brands, institutions, and communities connect through purposeful communication.
