The renowned annual nationwide campaign kicks off this weekend in support of breast cancer awareness
January 9, 2024 (Gardena, Calif) – Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) is thrilled to announce the start of the non-profit’s 2024 Love Your Peaks Winter Series, kicking off at Camelback Mountain, Pennsylvania this weekend, January 13th and 14th. The series will visit 16+ iconic mountain resorts throughout the country, spreading B4BC’s mission of early detection + a healthy, active lifestyle as the best means of breast cancer prevention. Love Your Peaks participants can join both on-site and virtually, dedicating time to get outside, snowboard and ski and raise funds in support of B4BC and its breast cancer education, prevention and survivorship programs.
To participate in Love Your Peaks, individuals can register with a $25 donation or join an existing team for the same amount. Participants can continue to fundraise for extra incentives, including one monthly giveaway entry for every additional $10 raised and the chance to win amazing partner products from Suja Organic, YETI, Arbor Snowboards, The North Face, 686, Pura Vida and more. Individuals and teams can create a fundraising page on B4BC’s Love Your Peaks Classy fundraising site, with prizes being awarded to the top individual fundraisers and fundraising teams. There are both on-site and virtual participation options, with on-site activities including Pink Poker Runs, Slalom Races, Tribute Rides, Pink Costume Contests, Raffles, Auctions and more. Virtual participants are encouraged to post and share rides from their home mountains with the tag @b4bc and #loveyourpeaks. Each week, B4BC will choose a winner at random from the tags, with unlimited entries. Registration is required to win prize packs.
