New and Reimagined Styles That Make Headwear More Than an Accessory
March 5, 2024 (Seattle) – Coal Headwear is excited to launch its Spring 2024 Collection, with headwear styles of different varieties, fits and sizes. For the first time, Coal will also be introducing a new sock line constructed with Polylana® fiber blend. Technical and timeless, this collection performs with options for all weather and outdoor conditions without compromising style.

ULTRA LOW FIT – THE FRAMEWORK $45
Ultra Low Fit hats are perfect for adventurers who wear small to medium size hats and The Framework is a brand new ultra-low style to Coal. It’s lightweight and packable, with a shock cord lock back closure to get the perfect fit for your head. Available in sleek colors such as black, khaki and navy, this cap is the perfect option for trail runners or climbers as they’re on the go.
LOW PROFILE FIT – THE PROVO $40 AND THE ANALOG $40
For the perfect shallow cap profile that sits above the ears, The Provo and The Analog are the way to go. The Provo is a fan-favorite and for Spring 2024, it will be available with an updated color palette including exciting prints and colorways such as olive seaweed, shale/sage, khaki scribble and more. While there may be more colors, The Provo is still constructed with the features it is known and loved for, including a flat, floatable EVA brim, moisture wicking sweatband and UPF 50+ material to name a few. The Analog is a new and modern style in the low-profile collection, made with a 100% recycled moisture wicking headband and a fashionable corduroy material. Color options include navy, grey and fuchsia.
MID CROWN – THE ATLAS $36
The Atlas comes in a mid-crown fit – not too deep and not too shallow, this profile offers versatility with styling. The design is a vintage workwear inspired 5-panel cap with an embroidered front rope detail for added flair. Customers have three universal color options to choose from: olive, navy and khaki.
ROOMY – PONTOON $34
The Roomy Fit silhouette is Coal’s most accommodating silhouette and is a great choice for those with large and extra large head sizes. Designed with a floatable flat brim, fabric on all 5-panels and made with UPF 40+ ripstop polyester, The Pontoon is a spring staple. Just how each fit can be personalized to the user, the print is unique to each hat in this style, making each unit one of a kind. Customers can express themselves with vibrant colorways including black splatter, khaki scribble, mustard seaweed, navy and black.
FULL BRIMS – THE TRAVERSE $44
Coal’s Full Brim hats give all around coverage for protection and shade on hotter days. The Traverse is a full brim bucket hat that is super lightweight and easily packable into a backpack or even your pocket. UPF 40+ polyester and a floatable EVA brim make it an ideal choice for days out on the water. Color options for The Traverse include burgundy spatter, khaki scribble and black.
COAL SOCK COLLECTION
For the first time ever, Coal will be including crew socks as a part of its headwear and accessory collection. Meet the Everyday Crew Sock and The Technical Crew Sock. Both are constructed with Polylana® fiber which consumes less energy and water to produce than standard yarn. The Everyday Crew is a ribbed calf, lightweight daily driver sock with mapped cushioning. The Technical Crew is a lightweight technical sock with a moisture management system with mediumweight cushioning to protect from shinners and pedal bites. Both are available in vivid and fresh spring colorways and will be an everyday essential.
