Customized Premium Headwear for Premium Brands
March 7, 2024 (Seattle) Today, the premium headwear brand, Coal, proudly announces the launch of Coal LAB which will serve to create customized headwear for brands of all sizes. This pilot program will allow brands to “COALlaborate” on Coal’s signature hat, The Provo and/or beanie, The Wayne with a 100-unit minimum order quantity (MOQ).
Prior to the pilot program, Coal’s Custom Headwear Division primarily created private label headwear assortments for large brands, including Pokémon, Volcom, Smith, Starbucks Coffee Company, and more. Through the Coal LAB program, businesses of all kinds can collaborate with Coal for customized, premium headwear.
One of the two styles offered through Coal LAB is The Provo, Coal Headwear’s high-performance tech hat made with recycled fabric. Constructed with custom vents to keep cool, a moisture-wicking sweatband in the inner liner to keep sweat out of your eyes, and a shock cord and toggle closure for a super custom fit – it’s offered in four unique colors: blue, khaki/grey, black, and olive.
The second style offered is the brand’s signature beanie with the perfect fit. Knit with thick, fine Acrylic, it provides warmth and comfort. The Wayne is offered in five unique colors: black, light brown, heather grey, slate blue, and forest green.
When placing a customized order through Coal LAB, brands can pick the product and color and then upload their custom artwork to a choice of label sizes using the online order form. From there, Coal will send a proof for approval and the invoice will be provided to confirm the Coal LAB order.
