Collection for French Pro Includes His First Pro Model Shoe, Apparel and Accessories

August 17, 2023 (Lake Forest, CA) – Today etnies officially launches French Pro Aurelien Giraud’s first pro model shoe – THE AURELIEN. Firsts are something this Frenchman is known for with top spots on the podium, and now he has his first pro model shoe to wear as he pushes forward to PARIS 2024. THE AURELIEN pro model shoe is the pinnacle of the Aurelien Giraud Collection of signature technical apparel and accessories. “I’m super proud of my new etnies pro shoes! We worked hard on the design to create a performance skate shoe that looks great to wear all the time. The cushioning insole and grippy outsole is both thin enough to feel the board, and dense enough for all my big impacts. It’s a perfect combination,” said Aurelien.  “Each piece in the AG Collection is something that totally fits my lifestyle.  You’ll see that we were sure to include a reminder of my town Lyon with lion details everywhere.”

Designed and tested by Aurelien to meet the needs of his high impact skateboarding, THE AURELIEN, features the etnies stylized “E” and is launching in three colorways, grey/light grey, tan/white and in a classic black/white. It features a STI Performance Level 1 insole, System Flo2 to provide air to flow around the foot, a hidden toe cap to extend the shoe’s life, elastic tongue straps for superior fit, hidden lace loops, a 400NBS rubber outsole for grip and board feel, as well as a padded tongue and collar lining to lock your foot in.   

The etnies Aurelien Giraud Collection represents his hometown of Lyon, France with France’s red, white and blue on his signature pieces, as well as a lion and a crown. The Lion is a symbol of his hometown and reps nobility, strength, resistance and courage. True to AG’s style the accessories are offered in black, with white, gold and France’s colors as accents. A nod to AG’s love of football, the collection is rounded out with the AG Jersey.

In addition to THE AURELIEN pro shoe, the apparel and accessories in this collection include the AG Track Jacket, AG Track Pant, AG Hoodie, AG Jersey, AG Tee, AG Tech Tee, AG Strapback Hat, AG Crew Sock, AG No-Show Sock and AG Crossbody Bag.  

Aurelien represented Team France in the 2020 Summer Olympics and his fans are watching him prepare for PARIS 2024. He won the V7 Teenage Tour in France at age 6, and then in 2015 when he won the Tampa AM this goofy footer was noticed by the global skate community. He is the current WST Street Skateboarding Champion (2022), has been on the podium at Red Bull Paris Conquest, Dew Tour, World Cup events and more.
